Article on Our Daughter by Anupam Talukder

With the title "Celebrating Daughter" a programme was arranged today at TSC, University of Dhaka.

My perspective: Woman in our country, honestly speaking in this whole indian subcontinent isn't evaluated properly. Neither according to the religious scriptures nor according to the National Constitution.
Some exceptions are seen, where women are numerically more than men, but exceptions can not be example.
Do you know why a woman can't go outside alone even in the first phase of the night? Because, she is vulnerable, she has fear of being raped, teased, even murdered, anything.
Unfortunately this fear comes as people generally don't recognise them as "Human". They don't think that she has her own will, own freedom and right to move freely, to do whatever she wishes. As a man, we do tend to forgot a woman like her has given birth of us. Hello, remember? You will also have wife, daughter, sisters who are also women. If you don't secure women of your circumstances, your women will eventually but surely become vulnerable to extreme cases.
Sadly some woman want be western in a society of Bangladesh. When you are in Bangladesh you should make sure your honour according to it, unless it's society is more flexible and developed, you have to be patient and cautious.
Not only men but also some women are responsible for the decline of woman's dignity and safety. Then help them to entrap them for a very reason!
Men and women namely they are father and mother should stand together to ensure the quality academic and moral education of their children. Education is a key factor to make them truly aware and cautious. The woman shouldn't forget their dignity, they should think of their own safety, right and should teach them to their children when they become mother.

We need truly educated mother's to rise as a powerful nation of prosperity.
The law enforcement authorities has a lot to do in this regard to ensure the success of government projects.
